Description:

The Concealed Pistol Licensing Review Board was established pursuant to the authority under  to review appeals of any denials of an application for a concealed pistol license issued by the Chief of the Metropolitan Police Department. CPLRB is also responsible for handling appeals from license revocations and suspensions.

 

Commission membership:

Members include the United States Attorney, the Attorney General, a Department of Behavioral Health professional, a formal law enforcement officer, and three public members.

 

Qualifications:

Qualifications: The Board consists of the following public members:

  • One mental health professional
  • Two District residents with experience in the operation, care, and handling of firearms
